Zach Lee

Chief Executive Officer

Zach co-founded ARM in 2004 with the primary focus on providing financial hedging advisory services to producer clients. Under his leadership, ARM’s hedging advisory business grew from just one client to one of the largest hedging advisory businesses in North America, serving over 130 clients.

Zach then leveraged his industry knowledge and trading background to form a commodity risk advisory group that acts as an in-house risk management team for clients and develops and implements risk management strategies for producers. He recognized early on the opportunities created by the shale revolution, and next formed a physical oil and gas marketing division that today markets crude oil/condensate, natural gas and natural gas liquids in every major North American oil and gas basin. ARM’s diverse expertise across the entire energy value chain comes together for clients in ARM’s strategic analysis service, which provides insights into market trends, regional developments and other insights that drive investment decisions for our clients.

ARM’s deep experience, strategic analysis and core focus on fundamentals – how the commodity moves, where it moves and what dictates prices—also paved the way for the investment and development and operation of multiple midstream and infrastructure assets, including Kingfisher Midstream, Salt Creek Midstream and Gill Ranch Storage.

Under Zach’s leadership, today ARM has also made significant inroads in the alternative energy space through ARM Alternative Energy, LLC, which provides investment capital in certain alternative and renewable energy sources, including renewable natural gas.

Prior to founding ARM, Zach worked for Duke Energy Trading & Marketing, where he managed the structured products and derivatives marketing group and quickly gained a reputation for creating innovative financial products for energy producers and end users. He began his career as a trading analyst at Entergy-Koch Trading, where he worked in a number of trading roles with a focus on the natural gas and power markets.

Zach earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree, specializing in Finance, at Texas A&M University.
